Thomas E. Simmons

Upon completion of his legal education at the University of South Dakota and admission to the bar, Tom Simmons joined the firm in 1961. Tom is a trial lawyer. He has served as Chairman of the South Dakota Board of Bar Examiners, is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and is a past president of the South Dakota chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has extensive experience in litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Tom is currently no longer actively involved in the full-time practice of law, but still provides help and guidance to others in the areas of civil trial practice, labor law, and professional malpractice law.
