Firm Overview

Creating a law firm, with a proven track record and experienced attorneys, takes time. Is 130 years enough? When this great state was still part of Dakota Territory, A.W. Bangs began practicing law with a lot of vision and commitment, a little courage, and some hard work thrown in for good measure. Since the 1880s, the partners, attorneys and staff have grown this talented firm into Bangs, McCullen, Butler, Foye & Simmons, L.L.P, providing counsel for individuals and businesses throughout the Dakotas, Wyoming, Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa.

Our legal evolution, from a one-room practice to one that is the most technologically progressive in the state, has been an exciting and wonderful journey. But we’re not stopping here. The advances we have made so far have been true assets for our clients. And we realize our clients are the reason we are here. They are the reason we have a passion for our work. Which, in turn, is probably why we get positive results for those we serve.
